helping You with...
EXPERIENCE: Having been in this internet business so long, already since 1995, means that I have a larger view on things in this field. This experience and wisdom will surely be of use to you and to your business in many ways.
SOLUTIONS: Many times it’s that there is not only one right thing, but many rights, many solutions. many paths and ways. This can be overwhelming, especially for a startup company. My approach in this is to keep things as simple as possible, manageable. That doesn’t have to exclude excellence.
FULL STACK: Full stack meaning here, that you will get a full service under one roof – and in even in one day, depending of the project. Or services can be tailored to fit your present partners’ services, if that helps you better.
support in the process
SUPPORT: There are always many decisions to be made in the process, and even some tricky ones. I can help you here. I can support you in the along the way. And afterwards.
cases - projects - customers
And here's the stack
Here’s the menu, the full stack. The selection, the services.
WordPress, Joomla or HTML web sites.
Even some other platforms. It’s up to you. And it depends on the case. Cases and goals are different, tools are different.
Full work, turn-key delivery with domain registration, hosting and the rest, or a face-lift or rescue to a present web site.
Technical problem solving, speed and optimization issues. Security.
Integrations to other marketing, CRM or workgroup systems, such as MailChimp, HubSpot or Slack. And more.
Connections to social media services. In and out.
Banner, or social media ads.
Email campaigns via global cloud services, or locally via such extensions such as AcyMailing.
This all means: pretty much anything you can think of. Anything you need to set up, change, move, or enhance a web site.
Other graphics. Logos, website elements, illustrations etc.
I can quickly produce something nice, when needed. Some times for a quick purpose, sometimes more everlasting.
I used to paint and draw too, so much time ago, so these visual and graphical things are kind of in my blood, so to speak..
But here’s just some. More in portfolio.
|Like this photo, which was taken in Kala-Trappi restaurant to be used in a Summer Menu website banner ad right away. And it was used many times afterwards in other occasions too.|
|And like this photo in Strandbo Group’s Kalkstrand restaurant for similar purposes.||Photos were published on a website the same day as the major new season menu was launched.|
|Even some studio-like shoots can be done on location.||Action-like photo shoots too.|
Last but not least…Here’s some words of these things. Besides all these design and visual things, I’m a tech quy.
These Tech Things can be roughly divided into two: web site/server stuff and other consulting.
WEB SITE/SERVER STUFF
Well, I used to have my own web server from 1995 to 2006/2008. At largest, I had about 90+ clients and 110+ domains.
The main business idea back then, besides selling just server space and make lots of web pages, was to deliver quite extensive database solutions. These included my own full CMS solutions Intrex and Dorix, quite large and versatile business solutions for SeaCompanion, a webshop for Prendimi as early as 1996 etc.
Lots and lots of smaller solutions, even for sites on other servers.
Especially to mention is a real-time fund subscription system for Aurator Varainhoto Oy / Aurator Asset Management, which was in use for some years.
Many or some of those solutions were no eezy-beezies, but I knew my back-then database FileMaker very well, so I was able to produce extensive solutions. I even used to make local FM applications for billing, CRM and so on, which were in use for years by certain customers.
For years after that I served my closest and biggest customers as a hosting reseller via Louhi. Those years I also started building websites on Joomla, but also later learned some Magento, Drupal, etc. I had my first 16 WP sites sometimes in 2008, I think.
Back then, though, I chose Joomla as my main platform. Nowadays the main playgound obviously is WordPress.
All my years since 1995 (and even before that starting at 1988) I have been an IT consultant also. There are some big references, and lots of smaller ones. There’s quite a lot of history in the past, hundreds and hundreds of cases and clients.
Recent years I’ve worked a bit in Win 7 / Win 10 environments as IT support. Besides being a freelancer doing this and that.
Lately, I seem to spend quite a lot of time with all types of web site optimization issues. I think I can show quite nice resuls.
Just some time ago I helped a client with Joomla interface issues on a new site. Another startup client asked for help setting up systems.
Then there were two totally different kinds of cases of web host changes, in which there were quite many things to consider. The other was a Joomla site, the other a WP site.
Then there were a couple of cases of very badly infected WP sites, which I had to lock, clean-up and secure.
That kind of things I do.
